Hello, my name is Misa! I love languages, movies, cats, traveling, and food from all over the world. I studied International Studies as an undergraduate and went to many different countries during my college years. I have worked as an advisor at a Japanese university and have experience tutoring and counseling students in English language learning (TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, etc...). I love seeing the moment students get very excited and happy when they realize they can understand and speak more English. I loved the experience and wanted to learn more about education. I studied Higher Education at a graduate school in the United States. As a learner myself, I learned English from ABCs for the first time in junior high school and even got "Akaten" when I just started and had no idea what the teacher was saying in the class. So, I understand the difficulty of learning English, the embarrassment of making mistakes, and the hardships of self-studying. Furthermore, since I have been studying Spanish and I am still at a lower level, I understand what it is like to be a beginner language learner. If you want to be able to talk in English, talk a lot. If you want to be able to read English, read a lot. If you want to be able to write in English, write a lot. I believe that is the best shortcut. You can open doors to the world if you can speak multiple languages. Let me help you have fun learning a new language and expanding your world! :)
