Hello! I'm Carmelita, and I'm from Cebu, Philippines. I finished Chemical Engineering as my major and have been working as a Chemistry and Physics instructor at a university for several years. In addition, I have had various experiences as an ESL teacher for a few years, both online and offline platforms. Most of my students were kids to adults, so I'm comfortable making fun English conversations with all ages. My hobbies are singing English songs, playing online games, and watching anime. I decided to be an ESL teacher here because English has been part of my teaching medium at school. I also want to share my knowledge and tips for improving my students' reading, speaking, writing, and listening skills. As an English learner, learning English is a continuous process. Becoming a proficient English speaker takes time, effort, and patience. Furthermore, consistency is a big help in progressing your skills. As an English teacher, teaching English is a fun two-way process. Sharing and learning about different cultures gives us a comfortable atmosphere. Thus, exchanging ideas is an excellent communication method to enhance confidence. Don't give up, and you can do it. Mistakes are naturally part of our learning process as English learners. As an ESL teacher, I will encourage and guide you throughout your learning journey and make sure to believe in yourself. See you!
