I trained as a secondary teacher specializing in English and History. I was awarded a BA in Social Sciences with the Open University. I also have a diploma in TEFL. Now retired; I spent over 30 years in teaching English and English Literature to students between the ages of 11 to 17. I have always enjoyed teaching English; particularly exploring set books with students for the purposes of public examinations. I believe that I have inspired many students from my time in the classroom.
