Hello! I am from the Midwest region of America, and my academic background includes studies in both English and Culinary Arts. I bring over 15 years of professional experience as a chef to my tutoring, specializing in fusion cooking—taking foods from other countries and adapting them to Western styles. This focus on adapting and combining cultures informs my approach to language.

I enjoy reading, learning about new cultures, and gardening. I am a parent to three children who love Japanese food and movies! I look forward to getting to know you in class and exploring the English language together!
